Martin’s did an incredible job catering our rehearsal dinner at the Mercy Lounge the night before our wedding. We already knew their food is amazing but I was really impressed with the friendly and helpful staff and the presentation. They set up all of the food in cool vintage wooden boxes that covered the basic buffet pans and looked great!

Tried this on a random Sat. evening with AT. Super delicious pork belly–and I don’t even like pork belly normally. I’m not crazy about it because it’s too heavy for me usually (not a bacon lover–people think I’m nuts!). They specialize in pork belly and now I know why!

Came during the dinner rush but that’s OK, we were able to sit at the kitchen bar & watch the magic happen. Cool stuff happens behind the kitchen, I get to see how the eggs are perfectly made, the fries cooked in beef tallow, what ketchup leather is, and the meticulous plating served in rustic skillets.

A super casual space for the laid back carnivore & beer enthusiasts. Music is not absurdly loud. Great place to grab some beer, delicious bites, & catch up with friends. Not recommended to bring your vegetarian friends or weight watcher boys and girls.
Though service was bizarre, the staff was nonetheless warm & friendly.

A few back, I took a friend out for his birthday at the Trencherman. I had been wanting to try it for a while, and his birthday seemed like the perfect occasion. Even though it was a Monday, I made a 7:30pm reservation and read a bunch of reviews beforehand. He arrived first, so I met him at the bar, and we were then seated right away. Last month, my mother brought me to Atera for a three-hour multi-course dinner. It was quite an experience, theatrical and lively, with pricey tickets purchased in advance. Service was impeccable, and the food was fun and often delicious.

I moved away from Chicago about 8 years ago, and was back in town for a work conference. I ventured out on a blizzardy miserable February evening, and sat at the cozy bar away from the cold and had an amazing meal!

I am always skeptical of a place in Times Sq/Hell’s Kitchen.. overpriced and poor quality usually. But given we were going to watch a show so this location worked really well!

Love this place. Quality of food always delivers. The wait stinks but I have never had an issue eating at the bar. Fun drink menu too.

Loved it! This felt like one of those restaurants perfectly matched to my food tastes. We just clicked! I will definitely be back.

Authentic and excellent Mexican grub. A simple menu, mostly tacos with a few platters. Very good selection of starters though. Our waiter brought extra chips and salsa when he noticed we were near the end of our order but still had guac left. Little things like that do not go unnoticed.
