Shahrazad Market and Restaurant

Everything I’ve tried here has been very flavorful, perfectly cooked and well seasoned. I recommend the Shahrazad Special plate to try the three most popular kabobs they offer.
Everything is cooked to order, so waits should be expected. But service is usually friendly.

They serve authentic food, catering to a Muslim crowd, so it’s mainly Muslim families frequenting this place. Sadly we’ve had a couple families attempt to stare us down while dining, made us feel uncomfortable, because we are not Middle Eastern I assume. But I do not blame the owners for that. It happens in today’s world.

But the tasty food more than makes up for it. Plus lately the owners have been reaching out more to the community at large more, bringing in more lunch time diners from the area. I’m glad the word is getting out.
