We stopped into John A's for dinner before heading to the nearby Grand Ole Opry. It was a fun warm-up for the evening. We started off with the fried pickles, per the many recommendations here. They were a great way to begin and went wonderfully with the beer! The Catfish was everything it was advertised to be...moist and cooked to perfection. Being sensitive to highly spiced items and fried, we had it broiled and it was GREAT! We also had the Prime Rib, which was served exactly at the medium rare as ordered.
