Boundary Road

What better way to spend Saturday dinner among close friends and delicious nouveau American cuisine at Boundary Road! The place is warm and inviting, with exposed brick walls and rustic, simple furniture. We came in as a party of three and ordered two appetizers, the PB&J fois gras and a pasta dish with scallops.

Both were an amazing start to our meal! At first impression, the fois gras looked intimidatingly thick and was room temperature, sandwhiched in between two pieces of slightly toasted bread with strawberry jam.

But I’m glad I tried it because it was sumptously rich and reminded me of a wonderful piece of brie! While the pasta dish was slightly on the salty side, it was full of flavor and kept me coming back for seconds.
