Buttercups Bakery

I had been hearing about Buttercups for quite a while now and was in Shreveport for the Highland Mardi Gras parade and decided to pop in afterwards with my family to finally get a taste of some awesome cupcakes and was definitely not disappointed.

Unfortunately, we went about 45 minutes before closing and they were out of red velvet, which is what I really wanted to try, but I ended up getting peanut butter which was rich and excellent!

My son got cookies and cream and finished it before I even knew he had it out of the box! My mom and stad (stepdad) both had italian cream and loved each and every bite they took. The store is fresh, clean and inviting. We were glad we stopped in.
