Ever since my son saw this episode, he’s wanted to go try it. I finally did a
business trip nearby, and talked my colleagues, (the Global Master Consultant
from Munch and the BMW coach who drives BMWs) into trying this place.
This place. I don’t have words. We went there on recommendation from friends in
Chicago, where we live, and don’t regret it. I only regret not getting some of
that crazy-good bread and coleslaw to go.
Good if you have a wing craving although the wings could be meatier. Extensive
sauce choices but limited menu otherwise. Long waits between ordering and tray
pick-up at the name calling window.
Sometimes when I’m either trying to recover or just want some good ol’ comfort
food, I know I can rely on RU Hungry and the Grease Trucks to deliver.
I went back and forth on giving this 4 stars over 3 stars, but ended up with 4
stars. Overall, the place is pricey but the pizza is so freaking fantastic,
that I keep going back. I used to frequent the Manchester shop but when we
moved to the NE corner, I was totally excited to see that they opened a shop on
the UCONN Campus. They had a groupon deal recently, so that was a bonus as
well.
This place simply kicks ass. And I mean simply. Just a pretty basic burger,
not a lot of customization, cash only. Love walking in and seeing the pounds
of bacon on the stove.
Prepping for a Memphis trip, I did my usual food/restaurant research.
Naturally, I came across, many times, Charles Vergos’ Rendezvous.
Recommended by a local. This place is really good and the decor is so
original.
This is a must go to eat spot in San Juan!
They serve u in a pilon and small caldero (pot) and metal plates and mugs!
Love it!
We had taken all our kids there before getting back on our cruise ship,
We all loved it! This is a must go to place.
I really wish I had not seen this place from man vs food! However I did and
the journey begun! After some planning my friend and I agreed to head to
Riverstone after Boxing Day as that is insane in Canada.
Came here with the fam for lunch. Kids loved the decor and how speedy the
waitresses went around on roller skates. The food and service were great - a
very fun place to eat!!
These are the hands down best tasting freaking donuts in the world! Yes, Maybe
I’m being a bit dramatic, but I had to wait just over a year and my second trip
back to Austin, to make the trek to Round Rock for these deliciously
dough-light-ful donuts. Now that I know that RRD is not actually that far from
my friend’s house, I will probs be making a trip to round Rock every trip to
TX.
I’ve always been a fan of Salvador Molly’s and even though I no longer live in
Portland, I still like to swing by when I’m in town for a visit. I noticed a
change from the “pre-Man Vs. Food” days, but it hasn’t stopped me from stopping
by for seasonal samplings and old standards.
My girlfriend and i were walking around downtown walnut creek and we happened
to crave something sweet. WELL! No thanks to my little sister’s instagram
picture from the night before, the kitchen sink just looked so delectable. Well
why not try this place out!
Sarussi has locations across Miami, but this location actually differs from the
original on 8th St and 67th Ave. Sarussi sells your normal cuban cuisine, but
it’s known for their giant sandwiches. They sell a cuban sandwich that reaches
16” in length!! They’re huge, they’re unhealthy, and they’re damn good.
Absolutely love this place. Hubby and I ordered the dinner buffet for $15/pp.
Its a great deal since you’ll get a mini salad bar, ham & bean soup, bread,
their famous sausages, meatloaf, almost all of their side dishes. Then they can
offer you their dessert for $3.50 extra. Don’t miss on the ginormous cream puff
pie.
Shula’s has a fine place in my heart of one of the nicest dinners I have had
with my husband.
I saw this place on Man vs. Food, and on my move from San Diego to Nashville, I
wanted to make sure I tried it out. I wasn’t disappointed.
It’s official - my husband and I agree that the Brine and Bottle is our
favorite restaurant. Fresh ingredients, daily menu variety, relaxed
atmosphere, and perfect culinary skills in the kitchen = winning combination.
I wish they could open one in Maryland. We came in July and fell in love with
the place, so we knew we had to make a stop next time we visited OBX.
On our last day to eat in Twin Cities, we decided to hit up a bunch of places
before going back to Vegas. One of the places had to be 5-8 Club for their
Juicy Lucy.
Don’t hate cause it’s a tourist trap. Hell, if you weren’t a tourist, you’d
probably be shucking the oysters yourself at home, right?
