This place has got to be the most delicious place for some ribs!! No..??
Please prove me wrong and let me know where I can find something better.
The ribs falls off the bone and just melt in your mouth kinda thing!
The plate of ribs can feed my entire family with left overs, no kidding!
IT’S MAGICAL! Especially with their BBQ sauce and garlic bread.. OH MYYY!
I’ve also tried their mushrooms and they were pretty amazing too.
My dad and I found the High Life Lounge on a cross country road trip from
Connecticut to LA using ‘TV Food Maps’ a random android app I found that is a
database of restaurants featured on TV. Knowing that we were driving through
Des Moines during lunch time on our way to Omaha from Chicago, the app gave us
a few choices. We went with this one, and could not have made a better call.
Upon arriving we were greeted with a great smile from the valet & the front
desk. The lobby had the hawaiian feel I wanted especially since it was my very
first time in Hawaii, I was excited.
I love ice cream and have trouble thinking of ever having bad ice cream. Even
so, Hoffman’s is a step above almost any place I’ve been to.
I heard about this place from the show Man vs. Food & always wanted to try it.
Not too bad!! Generous portions for $6 that consisted of four long strips of
fried fish & two slices of simple white or wheat bread.
This place is oh so tasty!! The great thing about their chicken is that, you
don’t even need their hot sauce for it to taste so good. With the hot sauce,
the chicken goes from good to great. The pieces of chicken are typically big,
hot, and filling. Truly hit the spot if you’re wanting a taste of the south,
up here in Northeast Ohio.
I have only eaten at the Hukilau Cafe once and have been dying to go back! Last
summer we found this little restaurant by recommendation of a friend. My
husband and I ordered cheeseburgers and fries and they were delicious! Also,
the price is amazing! For two cheeseburgers and two fries, it was under $12!
When there are 188 Yelp reviews already on a place, then normally I don’t
bother to add my opinion. However, because I was in Anchorage recently and
wanted to enjoy some good seafood, several people steered me to Humpy’s.
I love Mexican places that offer the more awesome meats… lengua, cabeza, etc.
You can get your burrito’s tortilla extra crispy. For the folks who want to
have some fun, they also make a seriously ginormous burrito that you guys can
challenge each other with. And for you So Cal folks who miss having carne
asada fries, they’ve got that here too.
A great little stop that won’t strain your budget. I highly recommend the
grilled shrimp side order (much more than your average side!) and the loaded
fries. And you can’t go wrong with the large assortment of gelato flavors, all
of which are served in heaping portions. Don’t be shy to ask for a taste or two
as you get to know their flavor selections!
I actually like this place better than Malibu Seafood Market Restaurant. It was
also much more packed even considering the fact that this place is much bigger
as a restaurant than Malibu Seafood. I like the ambiance better and the food
tasted better to me. Their fish tacos were wonderful and pair it with beer.
The Spudder is not a real looker on the outside, but if you want one of the
best steaks available in Tulsa in a casual setting, this place is hard to beat.
It takes its name after a machine that was once used to start oil drilling
operations, around which Tulsa gained early fame. You have to walk by such a
creature to get in the front door (which is really the back door), but the
thing is now in a fairly dilapidated condition.
We ordered their “award winning” side street kimchee fried rice and their fried
pork chops - way too much food for the two of us. As per other reviews, their
portions are huge. We picked the fried rice and pork chops due to
recommendations from friends, and from the many other reviews.
This is a traditional neighborhood dive bar that still is welcoming to
families. The menu is very creative and the food is terrific. Everything is
home cooking at it’s tasty, greasy best. The service is what you expect from a
neighborhood hotspot…friendly and fun. I have been there twice, once for
lunch and once with the family and I can’t wait to go back.
Absolutely Great! I love thier spicy grilled cheese sandwhich. It has just the
right combo of jalapenos, bell peppers, etc! Its my favorite!!!!!
My wife and I love this place. We were just there again this past weekend
sitting on the porch enjoying the beautiful weather while eating our favorite
buffalo shrimp and enjoying nice frosty beverages. We noticed they added some
new TVs outside which will make this a good place to watch football this fall.
Let’s see, when will I be back in Savannah again so I can enjoy Tubby’s some
more?
I am glad I don’t live in Jackson because I would eat until I couldn’t get in
the door of this place.
I love korritos. I can’t fathom how anyone could not. I really wish more people
would embrace the burrito fusion trend that korritos have started. Imagine a
world where you could pick any major cuisine and get its star ingredients in
burrito fashion. White Rabbit has done exactly that with Filipino food, and I’m
forever grateful for it.
The staff is very pleasant and helpful particularly Norma. She really knew the
products. I ate the fried oyster with loaded baked potato every bite was
delicious. I was only in town one night if I were there another night I would
have gone there again. I love fresh tasting food and it was seasoned just
right.
Tried to go to Lito’s, but it closed at 5:00, so we went back here.
Loved the # 16 though it wasn’t as described on the menu. It was described as a
stuffed chile, and it was all chopped up and covered with cheese, not stuffed.
The tamale was just ok. We’ve had the tacos before, and really liked them.
