Pasta dishes. Very good prices and hefty portions. Handmade pastas available!
I grew up a few blocks from here, as did my mom before me, so the Rivershack
has always been part of my life’s streetscape, so to speak. My uncle says that
when he was a kid in the 50s or 60s and they drove past it, my grandma made him
look the other way, it was that scandalous!
My mother and I were actually getting out of the car to go to Streets of New
York next door when she smelled the Mexican food and suggested we try Roberto’s
instead. That should tell you what you need to know right there.
Don grew up with Italian cooking in his blood. As a young boy, he frequently
helped his mom, aunt, and uncle cook old-school homemade Italian dishes from
scratch. He was always willing to learn and later would cook next to his Uncle
Lou at the Italian-American Social Club in San Francisco.
The original queen of diners and the most famous diner in the world.
I got the chicken sandwich and french fries. So Good! And our waitress was very
friendly and helpful even though the place was super busy!
Russian River Pub is just oh so Russian River. It has been locally owned and
operated for over 25 years and you can feel the character and history sing from
their charming and warm interior.
Ruth’s Diner is located in historic Emigration Canyon, being the second oldest
operating restaurant in Utah provides a rich history of great service and good
food. The canyon location provides beautiful large creek side patios with
spectacular views in the summer and a warm comfortable escape in the winter.
Famous for its award-winning comfort food served at breakfast, brunch and
dinner. The menu is a collection of family favorites and comfort classics from
the family cookbook.
And if you just don’t have room for all that goodness, get the bacon sampler
platter to share. It’s so worth it. I love their cracked pepper bacon.
This is on the top of my list for Mexican restaurants. The staff is welcoming
and helpful, and the food is freshly made, hot, and flavorful. Some of the best
chips and salsa I’ve encountered.
The sandwiches are great as well! As are the pickles. The prices are okay with
me, mostly because the quality of everything is so high. Service is very
friendly and they’ve never had any issue with me putting in an order for 16
people an hour before I need it delivered, which is a huge bonus for me and my
hungry co-workers.
My boyfriend and I found ourselves here after the Ravens/Broncos playoff game
on Saturday. After freezing and being too stressed out to eat for nearly 7
hours (game + tailgate time), Sam’s offered everything we needed: a warm,
comfortable restaurant with tasty food and solid portions. (And a place to
safely celebrate the Ravens’ victory among disappointed Broncos’ fans).
This place has been a staple in this area for quite a while. I am a fan of
their seafood mirliton soup which tastes just like stuffed mirliton. I also
enjoy their roast beef and hot sausage poboys. They blend their own hot sausage
which has just enough spice.
Holy Biscuits and gravy! Those biscuits are like the size of a dinner plate.
Pretty close anyways.
I sure do love Nashville but there have certainly been times when I have missed
the familiar scent of cannolis, red sauce, and chianti from my hometown St.
Louis’s “The Hill” neighborhood.
The food is pretty good, Nothing fancy or extravagant, but that’s not why we
go. It’s nice to support a place that is doing so much for the neighbourhood.
Plus, my son said the coffee milkshake was delicious!
Attentive and kind service, beautiful decor and atmosphere, decent prices,
generous servings, and truly delectable cuisine. Savoy has it all and for that,
they get 5 stars!
Being fans of Guy Fieri’s Triple D show and having driven by the place way to
many times over the past few years we opted to stop by for lunch.
Fine waterfront breakfast and lunch + exotic dining & waterfront lounge.
Scully’s Tavern provides excellent food and service in a friendly atmosphere.
