It’s official - my husband and I agree that the Brine and Bottle is our
favorite restaurant. Fresh ingredients, daily menu variety, relaxed
atmosphere, and perfect culinary skills in the kitchen = winning combination.
I wish they could open one in Maryland. We came in July and fell in love with
the place, so we knew we had to make a stop next time we visited OBX.
f you go to a diner you must expect a diner atmosphere/service/food… not
Morton’s or Capital Grille.
Bro’s was fantastic! Chef Breaux is great. The restaurant is homey, and a nice
place to sit and have a drink. The crawfish were surprisingly good. I was
expecting really bland over cooked crawfish, but they were great. Nice and
spicy, with excellent potatoes and corn. They were hot, cooked just right, and
huge.
So LoML and I had the usual errands to run, and we ended up at Eastern and Kane
with rather large appetites, so we decided to try Broadway Diner after looking
at the reviews. We’d driven by here a million times, but had never stopped
before.
I am a huge fan of all things Broders. At the Cucina specifically I have eaten
in, done takeout, and ordered catering.
Since it’s in South Minneapolis, of course I have a hard time getting myself
down there. I first went in 2009 and though I don’t remember what I had
exactly, I remember the pasta being incredibly toothsome.
This is such a great go-to place when you can’t decide on what sounds good for
breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Bryant Lake Bowl is one of my go-to brunch places Uptown. Bloody Mary’s served
with beer chasers and excellent hang-over dishes. I’m a huge fan of the BBQ
Bowler - biscuits smothered in shredded pork and cheesy scrambled eggs with a
side of sweet and spicy BBQ sauce, yum!
The food is great! You can really tell that they use the best ingredients. I
had the Pt. Reyes Blue Cheese burger and it was TO DIE FOR. I have blue cheese
burgers everywhere, and the one at Bubba’s is the best I have EVER had.
I am looking forward to going again on another day to see what the place is
like with more people there.
I was passing through Truckee and decided to take a peek in the Yelp app to see
what there was to try out and after going back and forth on a few options
looking for something inexpensive but tasty.
This was a wonderful spur-of-the-moment dining experience. We went there on
New Year’s Day - the place we wanted to go had a huge line - and the line here
was manageable. The menu looked delicious. We waiting 15-20 minutes to get
in, then we were seated.
I absolutely LOVE the italian sandwich from the Cabbagetown Market! I swear,
it’s the perfect sandwich… I get a craving for one at least once a month. The
burgers are great too and they have delicious soups that vary day to day. Plus,
if you’re in a hurry you can call ahead and your meal will be waiting for you
when you walk in the door… convenient and delicious!
I had a fish taco craze last year and that was pretty much the only thing I ate
for about a month. Still, I am not a self-proclaimed taco connoisseur and will
not pretend to know everything there is to know about the dish.
Overall: Best home made Italian food in the Bay Area so far. Italian district
in SF can’t even come close to this place. Truly amazing food.
The Parmesean potatoes were not as good as the Fried Potato Salad. The Sweet
potatoes were creamy and well plated. It was a little party in your mouth with
each bite. If you think you have a Twice baked before - try it here. It was
airy and fluffy and full of flavor.
It specializes in Bosnian Cuisine, tasty dishes that would be familiar to
anyone with roots in the Balkans.
It’s been said a million times, but Cafe Rakka is a place that really and truly
cares about each dish they put out into the world. Quality control is on point
and the ingredients are always fresh and worth paying a little extra. My
personal favorite is the baklava, which is just the right balance of syrup and
filo; it is sweet but not goopy, just the way I like it.
This place is really small and cute. It has a welcoming atmosphere, although a
little bit cramped. The waiters were really helpful and they seemed to interact
really well with their customers.
