After eating a California Steak Taco and sharing some flour tortilla chips with
my wife (which we didn’t even finish), I was full! Everything appeared to
have been freshly made, the steak had a lot of flavor and the flour shell was
different than any other taco place I’ve been to.
All I have ever had there is the fish tacos & the Surfer Snacks ($0.50), and I
have never been disappointed. The fish portions are huge & the fish is always
perfectly crispy.
Camille’s is the bomb-diggity!! Exclamation pointssssssss and extra added
emphasis! Been wanting to try this truck forever since seeing it featured on
one of my all time favorite shows… Diners Drive Ins and Dives! Really, it
is THAT good.
Cane Rosso is not Papa John’s. Anyone looking for super thick slices of sadness
need to keep walking. This place serves authentic Neapolitan pizza following
standards set by the Associazione Vera Pizza. Ooh la laa. Please do not be
confused. All people really need to know is that the owner of this place rocks.
Hubby and I came here while on a road trip stop in town. Really enjoyed the
atmosphere and the variety of beers on tap. We had the capones pizza which was
quite tasty, but a bit too packed with toppings for the crust to upstand.
Honestly, i dont know why people complain about the service, the plates, the
plastic forks, & the picnic tables. I really don’t care about that stuff (even
though the service was good) all i care about is the food & the prices. The
food was delicious & the prices were a little high but not that bad.
Heed ye the ole instructional trope, “If the month ain’t got an R, then it’s
best to say nope.” Oyster teachings…
First off, let me say they’re primary known for SPICY BLOODY MARY’S and
BURGERS. But let’s all think about it takes 30 minutes to cook some meat and
toast buns. So if you think cooking food is like a speedy thing, head over to
McDonald’s or Wendy’s.
The service was great. The only reason this is not a 5 is that I need to
revisit a few times to ensure consistency, but I would seek this place out next
time we are in the area, no question.
This was our 3rd time here.We love bringing visitors here - and so we did - my
wife’s son and daughter. Get the steak, baked potato and lettuce salad. If you
like that as a menu item, you’ll love the food here.
I’m from the west coast, and I grew up eating hole-in-the-wall mexican,
tex-mex, etc. Now I live in Virginia, good mexican food is very hard to find.
So, I get my hot food fix from Indian food, which is great, but mexican food is
still my favorite. Thus, on a recent trip we decided to try to find a triple-D
mexican oriented place and this is the one we picked.
Today I went here for the first time with recommendations from my godmother.
I’ve always passed by this restaurant on Brady St. but it is quite big inside
with 2 big dining areas! The inner atmosphere was full of warmth with the
restaurant decorated for the holiday season and other people having dinner
around us.
Enjoy a warm & casual atmosphere that offers everything from sandwiches to
prime rib.
First time here it was Sunday about 12;30 very busy place greeted by waitress
told how to order. Basically get in line grab a menu and order at cashier take
table # Waitress will bring your beverage order to table.
I was in Springfield this past weekend and I was looking for a place to have
breakfast/lunch. Usually Yelp comes to my rescue, but I ended up finding
Charlie Parkers through Foursquare’s explore option. I noticed that it was
featured on the Food Network, so that intrigued me and we ended up going to
check it out.
With all due respect to Bret, I was a regular at Charlie’s for 7 years when the
diner was still located in Worcester, Massachusetts. In 2001, it lost its lease
and the owners had to remove the diner structure from its site on Plantation
Street. Eventually, they found a new location in Spencer, and reinstalled and
expanded there, and about the only thing that has changed (thankfully) was the
view out the window.
Yes the outer appearance is a gas station, and at first you think you’re headed
toward a regular ‘ol diner…but once you’re seated, it dawns on you that this
place is nothing of the sort. Of course approval from Guy Fieri & Diners,
Drive-ins, and Dives doesn’t hurt either.
It’s worth the price. Shiitake Mushroom Empanadas… Corn Masa Memelas…
Formed Chocolate Chile Mousse.
Quite some time ago I saw this place on Travel Channel’s top 50 unique places
to eat, or something like that. The idea of a fusion of Oriental and Mexican
food intrigued me. knowing that I would not be going to Phoenix any time soon,
I put it in the back of my mind.
Other than that, Chop House burgers now incorporates a bakery for your sweet
tooth fixin, and you still get the same brisket infused burger.
