I’m sure that I cannot come up with anything original that hasn’t been said
already about The Modern. So, instead, I’ll just have to echo what others are
saying and add my own color to it. After speaking with Ryan Pernice, the
owner/general manager of Roswell, Georgia’s Table & Main restaurant, we were
very excited about dining at The Modern during our Holiday trip to NYC.
The Monday Room is the study in the home of Public a Michelin rated restaurant
and bar. I can’t tell you about the food because I didn’t have the pleasure of
eating however, I can tell you about the drinks, the ambiance and how the two
go extremely well together.
The Nook was featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
Alton was right. This establishment is home to the best fried chicken you will
ever eat. I don’t care who you are or who your mom was. Mr. D beats you. The
man produces perfection embodied in fried chicken. It’s a work of art. You must
go, but I warn you: no other fried chicken will ever taste as good as long as
you live.
When we booked our vacation, several friends and family members recommended the
Olde Pink House, so we booked a reservation for our last night. Definitely book
a reservation in advance, for when we arrived they were turning patrons away
left and right.
It was pretty busy when we came, however the waitress was very kind and polite.
I’m not a huge fajita/taco fan but this place was really good. What makes it
sooo good? It’s when the onions and peppers hugs the slices of juicy beef,
sleeping in a warm and freshly made tortilla. Yum~ Of course, you have the
usual sour cream and guacamole - but you don’t even need that, it’s naturally
perfect (perfect is not a vocabulary that I use so freely =P ) Hmm.. not quite
sure if…
We popped in to Patterson House on New Year’s Eve to grab a drink before
heading on to dinner. My fear was that there would be a ridiculous wait and
slow service, which would prevent us from making our dinner reservations on
time.
We had seen the ads for this place and saw it on Yelp, so we thought we’d try
dinner there, but the menu was a bit too pricey for our wallets, so we decided
to come back for lunch instead.
Was staying in Ojai and did a Groupon search in the area and was very lucky to
find Ranch House there for a $50 for $25 deal. I am not a hard core foodie or
food snob of any kind, just like a great dining experience for a fair price,
and Ranch House delivered.
Food is always great and very consistent. Interesting wine list and wines by
the glass. I have spoted many celebrities there, despite the fact that the
restaurant has been around for many, many years… The zucchini appetizer has
been on the menu forever and I have it everytime.
I’m a fan. I had their Redneck Reuben(Smoked corned beef on Texas toast topped
with coleslaw) and it was GREAT!!! I don’t even think this is their best
sandwich since they specialize in a Angus burgers. I can’t wait to go back and
try a burger.
My friend and I made reservations for high tea and when we arrived, we were
seated immediately. We were seated by the window, overlooking Union Square. It
was such a pretty view, especially since the Christmas tree was up. The
interior architecture and decor was also very beautiful and classy, very Neiman
Marcus.
I don’t think I really need to add to your 1201 reviews but I’ve visited twice,
I’ve drank the kook-aid (actually mulled wine), and I’m a fan. I don’t even
know if my review will be filtered by Yelp because I’m pretty sure I’m going to
be using orgasm a lot in my review.
Bottom line at the top: 3.5 rounded up, the chocolate chip pancakes are
delicious. Good place to go for a simple waffle snack or dessert, I wouldn’t
recommend actually coming here for breakfast or lunch.
We came here late night after a nearby wedding we attended for a little drunk
eating. Bad bad bad…but so so so good!
We’ve eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. We went for the
Thanksgiving meal in 2012, and had an excellent meal and left eating far too
much food because it was all so delicious.
The rub on the ribs was excellent, the best I’ve ever had. The pork and brisket
was tasty, but a bit average. However, the sides made up for it – the potato
salad and beans, especially.
I toyed here with five stars versus four stars. I don’t like to spit them out
like a Pez dispenser, but I could not find anything to complain about or
criticize. And as my wife and prior reviews can attest, I am one hell of a
whiner, and can pretty much always find something that is fouled up, or at
best, could be made better.
We had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving Day at this cozy little Bistro
tucked in the East Village. The space is full of warmth and charm with an
eclectic mix of vintage wood tables and chairs. The warmth and charm of the
staff is what set our evening apart. They were helpful and accommodating when I
called to make our reservation and upon arriving at the restaurant I
immediately felt at home.
An amazing experience. Went for our 6 year anniversary. They create
personalized menus for you which they give you in an envelope at the end of
your night to take home along with two pastry treats wrapped for you to enjoy
the next day.
