We were in town visiting and decided to shop on Magazine street. When hunger
struck, my friend did a quick search and we were sold on this place.
Food - incredible. Blue crab beignets, braised short ribs, butter poached
triple tail…yum
Service- awesome. Like sitting at a friends house.
Then there was dessert - oh my.
Definitely worth the trip. Thanks so much for a great evening.
All I can say is YUM! I make meatballs quite frequently and a friend of mine
said I should try Marabella… I honestly think I will be using their meatballs
for sunday dinner from now on!
This is a very straightforward restaurant. You’ve got two dumpling options, a
case of canned sodas, and ice cream sandwiches for dessert - the old school
kind wrapped in white waxed paper. And on top of that, one extremely
enthusiastic owner/chef.
POPcycle is taking PINT/POP orders for delivery the week of December 17th –
just in time for your holiday gatherings!
I came here twice during my stay in Kalispell, once for lunch and again for
breakfast. Both meals were very good.
I wish I still had my old metabolism. I could eat two of those if you let me.
The meat is well marinated, the fries aren’t huge, and my cousins and I have
found that it pairs well with Cabernet Sauvignon. We love hybrid
highbrow/lowbrow meals.
Roman Candy is a New Orleans Tradition. Until I read Jen’s review, I didn’t
know they still had a mobile cart. I had only ever seen them at the zoo.
Enrique and Alicia Ramirez first opened the original Senor Fish in 1988 in
Highland Park. Senor Fish was the originator of the Mexican fish taco sensation
that occurred in the early 1990s strongly due to the numerous food critics that
heralded Senor Fish and their menu. It was Enrique’s trips to the Puerto
Vallarta beaches where he drew inspiration in creating the fish taco. During
these trips, he would witness people grilling fish and seafood on the beach,
pair it with tortilla and salsa, and…
Before I came here I never the existence of chicken waffle, and never even
dared to imagine that the combination of waffle and chicken would be an
marvelous and extraordinary sandwich…
It’s really good here if you’re looking to clog some arteries! Totally enjoyed
the Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese and the Fried Chicken.
The breads and few choices of fresh-baked pastries are good; bread aficionados
in Portland will definitely want to try this out.
If I wanted a biscuit I’d go here. PS I hate biscuits … would be a five star
joint if I did like them.
Swan Oyster Depot is a food landmark in the city and it’s a surprise that it
has taken me this long to try. I liken it to visiting Alcatraz. Tourists from
all over line up to try it, but locals tend to stay away. The major hurdle for
me has been the line. It took nearly an hour to get three stools at the very
end of the long bar.
What a fun brunch with great food - and the bottomless mimosas are not to be
ignored, either. In fact, the mimosa server was the most popular person in the
whole joint, never letting anyone’s glass run dry, and the orange juice they
used was fantastic - perfectly pulpy, with a great ratio of juice to sparkle.
Definitely my favorite taqueria in the Mission! I frequent this place once or
twice a week. My go-to dish is the super burrito (chicken, no sour cream).
My fellow citizens of New Orleans please take note of this review. In my
perpetual endeavor to locate and devour all culinary pleasures of life in New
Orleans I have an important recommendation.
How the heck can you bash a place like this. This is by far the cheapest place
to get lobsters. They are a seafood market that also cooks lobsters on site for
a small fee. Add butter for another small fee. Napkins and extra new paper are
FREE.
What a great place for either a date night or a group of friends. We happened
upon Vignola Cinque Terre one night and after a single dinner, we can’t wait to
return.
A price increase of this magnitude would not only affect the price of fluid
milk, but also the price of butter, cheese, yogurt, baked goods, pizza, mac and
cheese in the little…
