Diners Drive-Ins and Dives
This is for the Cheena Pump location, but I assume the ice cream and service
are just as great at College Rd.
Hullabaloo’s surprise are its fries. They’re lightly breaded, crisped right,
and there’s more than enough on your plate.
I live very close to the restaurant and have to say it took me an
embarrassingly long time to finally visit this place…now I can’t stay out of
this place.
For more than 35 years, Ingrid’s Kitchen has been one of Oklahoma City’s
favorite choices for the finest in German food, as well as other European and
American specialties. Authentic recipes, old-world charm, hospitality and
value are the hallmarks that distinguish this one-of-a-kind combination
restaurant, bakery, delicatessen and catering service.
Is it possible to get a legal patent on food? If so, Irazu Cafe could easily
lock down and license it’s Oatmeal Shake recipe! It is like drinking
heaven…with just a pinch of cinnamon on top. So, so good!
We searched this out because of DDD and it was quite a drive from our hotel so
we had high hopes. My husband had the pork tenderloin and I had chicken. Both
were good, as well as the cole slaw.
Eating east of the west coast can be a cooking-impaired foodie vegetarian’s
worst nightmare, but hey, there are all-American places that provide. Jax
Truckee Diner makes their own veggie patties! They also have a huge menu with
pastas, customizable dishes, and brunch.
We went back to try Jake’s for dinner and were not disappointed. We started
with the spinach & artichoke dip served w/house made flour tortilla chips. The
chips were light, warm, and tasty.
Jamaica Gates is so good, before this I had never experienced food like this.
It’s sweet and tangy with a but if a kick to it.
I have been coming to Jamaica Kitchen for years after it was recommended by two
Jamaican friends, who, funny enough, didn’t know the name of the place or the
exact location, other than “down Sunset Drive until the big Avenue”. Ha ha!
They didn’t know I hit bulls eye at will. That said, I can confidently say that
Jamaica Kitchen now serves the best Jamaican food in Miami.
I’ve been here twice. The staff is friendly and helpful. They gave me samples
with a toothpick. They had several main dishes for vegetarians, the BBQ tofu
was tasty. The sides were simple but delicious, I tried the collard greens and
cabbage. The fried bread is great to wipe up all the tasty sauce. They serve
good sized portions at a reasonable price. The line gets long quickly at
lunchtime.
I stopped by Jamies on 9/26/12 around 130pm. I had been wanting to go ever
since I heard it was featured on Triple D. I never saw the episode but my
husband went with his coworkers and said it was quite good. He warned me that
the place is quite small and not open on weekends. We have not made it out
there together so I had the day off from work and wanted to give it a try.
We had dined here once, and take out once. Both experiences were really good.
This place became one of our favorite spice food restaurants in Honolulu now.
We will be a regular here for sure.
I’m not sure if this is the “Best BBQ in the LA Area”, but “I sure wouldn’t
kick them outta bed for eatin’ crackers.”
I really liked this place. Not only everyone in their staff was super cool and
nice, but they made sure we were always good with everything in terms of food
and drinks.
The greatest seafood I put into my mouth. Came here 2 days before Christmas
with a party of 9. When we walk in, we are greeted by the server. Its cool
that they will accommodate seats for you before you order your food.
I walked in. They punched me in the face with a rainbow (well, Southwest
Sliders). Smiles all around.
The Triple Burger is really good here. The cheese is perfectly melted and
really like the milk shake too. It brings all the boys to the yard!!!
Bob’s is know for their super fresh fried seafood, particularly fried whole
belly clams.
Pretty good, came here on a whim, Husband saw it on the tv show and we happened
to be in Everett and hungry.
