Man v. Food Nation
Much better than a chain. Service was great and I loved the salad bar you get
with an entree. I was there 4 months ago(posting a bit late), but I cannot
remember a steak better before or since. Well worth the trip. And definitely
more value and better quality than at a fancy steak place.
Bar none, this is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Including Vegas or
NYC or Quebec or anywhere.
I was in town for a wedding recently and this place provided my girlfriend and
I with one of the tastiest brunches we’ve had.
This place is great. I have been a few times since moving to Mobile. The gyro
is awesome but since trying the mixed grill I will say hands down my faverite.
This place is amazing. I felt like I was walking into the 1920’s and
Prohibition was in full force. It was awesome!
I still believe the best BBQ stems out of the San Antonio and RGV areas. But,
the brisket here is pretty good. It’s never been dry and the sauce is always
tangy. I like that they keep it warm and probably more sanitary than a big
open tub.
MY FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN TULSA!
Love the green chili vegetarian enchiladas and the house made tortillas!
Love the green chili stew and the red enchiladas.
Love it that there is always a place to park outside without any problems
Love their take out program. Always fast and they give you everything you need.
My brother comes here all the time and I would never go with him because I
could not get over the fact that the shrimp was made in a truck. And it’s not
even a nice truck!
Some people have a hard time understanding the name of “The Grand Ole
Creamery”. Come on peeps - It is GRAND, it is OLE (aka OLD), and it is a
CREAMERY.
The place isn’t fancy, but it’s a warm St. Paul atmosphere in a nice, old
building meant for a bar/restaurant. The tap beer selection with over 70 craft
brews is good enough to raise anybody’s eyebrows with interest. The food is
really good, and there is a beer to match, but they also serve good wine and
coctails.
Came here for lunch on our Anniversary trip and it was pretty decent. Service
here is amazing!! Came end of October with our dog and they were able to set up
a table outside for us to sit. Our server also brought out a water bowl for him
too which was great.
That Hogfish Sandwich was the bomb!
Cute overhang outside and antiques and kitsch inside the entry way and through
out the restaurant.
Being so close to work, this is a place my boss and I frequent. I do have to
say that I really do enjoy their sandwiches and it’s typical Izzy’s. I really
am going to focus this particular review on this particular location because
the food is Izzy’s fantastic.
Great place for a quick and consistently good food, have been going there for
years. LOVE the chicken fajita sub… Three sizes of subs, but they do wraps
if you’re trying to cut down on the carbs like myself. They do have some more
healthy choices including a bunch of different salad options. There’s always a
reasonable lunch special, and they actually bother to rotate it.
Jacks is a great bar to hang out with your friends, drink many fancy drinks,
and play games! Jacks has a pretty decent sized menu that has something for
most types of eaters, omnivores and herbivores a like! The roasted pepper
hummus makes for a great appetizer everyone can enjoy.
I love everything about Joe Momma’s. I run around downtown a lot, and this has
become one of my go-to places. Everything I’ve had to eat here was
awesome–spinach salad, fried mozz, and of course the specialty pizzas. My
favorites are Natalie Portman, Betty White, and California Love. One of my
best friends has Celiac’s disease and loves Joe Momma’s gluten-free crust.
They also have a vegan sauce so you can get a fully vegan pizza. (I haven’t
tried it, but…
Hungover from one drink too many the night before, I randomly stumbled across K
& I via my search for dive-y diner food. Intrigued by the fact that my friends
and I had never heard of this place, my husband and I decided to give it a try.
I Loved this place. After my first visit I used to Order the Key Lime pie from
them and have it shipped to Chicago. It was the BEST. They were originally from
Chicago and moved down to Key Largo 35 years ago and recipe was Grandma’s. They
even got wiped out twice by Hurricanes. Too bad they could not survive this
economy.
