The Best Thing I Ever Ate
This is my go to place for when I am craving some crepes, which admittedly is
not that often. But man, oh man, do they do it right.
I have been coming here for years and years. It has the best prime rib I’ve
had, period. You can go to places in San Francisco or other big cities and get
a better experience, but when the meat hits the teeth, nothing beats
Cricklewood.
Extremely pleasing to the sense of taste, that’s Cristina’s. We spend several
weeks a year in SV and once we discovered Cristina’s it was like we had found a
gold mine. The food is absolutely incredible.
The fanciest Vietnamese restaurant around with prices to go with it. There are
2 and only 2 things you need or rather MUST to order here.
The broiled red snapper was fantastic! Succulent. Don’t think it’s healthy
though, because it had to be broiled with tons of butter. But that made it all
the more delicious.
I’m a fan of the poppy twist and the build-your-own omelette. Breakfast is the
only meal I’ve eaten here, but I also stop in for bread every so often.
Holy smokes! Literally! I would give 4.5 stars if that was an option, but since
its not, I rounded up because it is so good. Got the Sampler plate. At the
15.99 price tag, i initially thought it was a little steep but found out was a
great value for how much food came. Those plates can really feed 2.

Very comfortable chairs!!! The brunch was just spectacular! Seasonal, delicious
food. I have tried a bacon, cabbage and squash dish with perfectly poached
eggs. Unusual flavor combination for brunch, great , interesting combination,
super fresh ingredients.
This BBQ joint is on the far west side but it’s worth the long walk over. I’ve
tried both the storefront and the mobile cart. The chilli is great. Right
amount of burnt ends, meaty brisket, and all the fixins with sour cream,
cheese, and onions.
Daniel’s in New York, with 660 reviews there’s not much I’m going to be able to
tell you that you haven’t seen before. We had the 8 course tasting menu and it
was an experience.
Lunch at David Burke Townhouse was the best meal of my recent New York
vacation. It was a rather dull vacation, gastronomically speaking, but I think
this place would have been a highlight even with fiercer competition. Even
better, my meal was paid for by my publisher (#sneakbrag), which made me feel
pampered and appreciated.
If I lived in New Orleans, I would be end up eating at Deanie’s almost every
single day, ballooning to 300 pounds, and never having a date on Friday night.
When I begin to tell you that I wish I could have eaten more but the
limitations of my stomach prevented me from inhaling more food, that’s how good
it was.
I’ve always wanted to try Di Fara but never did because of the long lines. I
finally got to try it & I have to say- it exceeded my expectations. I came on
a rainy/snowy day so luckily there was no line to wait on. Upon entering, you
will see Domenico and another staff member whom you place your order with.
Dino’s gets 5 stars for everything.. Service, decor, eye candy, and especially
the food!
My husband and I went here for dinner last night and I have nothing but
WONDERFUL things to say about Dobson’s. We walked in and were greeted by the
host. We decided to have a drink at the bar before going to our table.
Hands down my favorite Italian restaurant. This is a Hidden treasure way out
near JFK. Don Peppe is a family Style italian restaurant with no menus and is
cash only. I always feel like I’m stepping into a scene from the sopranos.
Before I got here, I was fairly certain that I would be kicking myself for
spending so much on an average dinner, but I was actually impressed with what
they conjured up at Donovan’s.
Dorothy’s makes one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had. They include
homemade chili and tater tots, and they are just absolutely addicting. Of
course, the tamales are also amazing. They’ve been featured on “The Best Thing
I Ever Ate” on the Food Network, so I guess that counts for something too. The
only place to eat in Hartsel, and one of the only places to stop for a while,
so its really a great stop and you will not be disappointed with the food.
