Umberto’s

I grew up in New Hyde Park and used to eat at Umberto’s all the time. I even worked there way back in the early ‘80’s as a busboy when I was a teenager.
The food then and the food now is just spectacular. The service is great and its real NY service. Direct and to the point. When I was there last year I ate in the front room and had an assortment of pizza, hero, baked clams and garlic knots.
