Esquire Tavern

Thank god appearances can be deceiving. Walking into Esquire Tavern I seriously doubted that I was about to have a delicious meal. Esquire Tavern boasts itself as the oldest bar on the San Antonio Riverwalk and it definitely shows. The place is dimly lit; mostly constructed of dark, polished wood; and has an “old” smell. There are also taxidermy animals pretty much everywhere. If this seems at all off-putting to you, I encourage you to look past it.
