JOSEPH’S RESTAURANT

I ordered one of their omelettes which had spinach, mushrooms and a side of their regular grits. I never had grits before but it was good actually. It tasted like oatmeal with milk and also a bit sweet. I liked the texture and depending on where you go in the South, the way it’s prepared can be the biggest factor. According to my bf who currently resides around the area, he had it soupy as well. I liked the way this place does theirs. As far as the dish itself, it tasted a bit bland, no wow factor but adding a bit of hot sauce did the trick.
