I just got back from this place and it was absolutely amazing. I got the fried lobster roll and the lobster chowder. They were both outstanding. The people were very friendly as well. Definitely check this out.

Last night, while having some fun uptown, I wanted to grab some dinner when it dawned on me: Trimbo’s is right there. So I go in, right before they close, and I was literally the last guy they would serve. Because of that, the atmosphere was quite dead (aside from being chatted up by the fella who directly encouraged Adam “Man v. Food” Richman in that famous episode). But that wasn’t a problem.

After an ample birthday dinner, and (more than) a few drinks, we decided we HAD TO HAVE voodoo donuts. We showed up at 2 am on a Sunday morning, and there we about 3 people ahead of us in line. Service was quick, and before you know it we had a maple bacon, captain crunch and old fashion in hand, with some milk to wash it down. 3 donuts + 1 milk = ~$5.50, not bad at all (CASH ONLY).

I have had so-so service on the rooftop before but this place does not just offer me service. They offer me hospitality. Awesome bartenders. Kind, knowledgeable, and i just like to go there to have a pint. Good place, good people.

The service was ok Bu the food was great. Tried the famous seward’s folly which is a five pound burger with a pound side of fries. The burger was so good but I could only finish about a pound in a half. If you want to try this monster it’s available on request. It isn’t on the menu. Good food good time. I want to come back and try one of the smaller burgers cause they are so good!

I’ve only been here once, and all I had was the garbage burger with onion rings. I also tried getting a biscuit but they were already out (Tip: get there early because they will run out of food!) I can’t attest to the other burgers they serve but the garbage burger was amazing. It was a mess to eat with the chili but oh so delicious. Honestly I don’t think I will be trying any other burger, I mean, why not have the best all the time right?

I was able to find the place quickly. Across the street from The Society Room on Pratt Street, I was able to see the little sign then see the alley way into Woody’s. Entering the 2nd set of doors I felt I was in a dimly lit mall. Sheesh, I said to myself “there are many door ways to get into this place.”

If you want high end steaks ( Flemings, Ruths Chris, Mortons ) for half the price and don’t want to dress up all fancy huh, go here and be blown away.

Ever since I have moved to Florida, my friend has been bothering me to go to Yoder’s. I saw it on TV before I moved, so I knew what Yoder’s was all about.
I live in Tampa, it was a 1 and ¹⁄₂ hour drive from my house. I made a special trip just to go to Yoder’s. The place has a quaint Grandma’s house vibe.

This place hardly needs another glowing review, but I went through Amarillo recently and completely enjoyed my experience at the Stockyard Cafe. There is absolutely nothing pretentious or fake about this place: it’s just a great lunch joint turning out tasty and simple diner-style food. In fact, my biggest criticism might be that it’s called “Cafe” instead of “Diner.”

It doesn’t seem that people in general think of Detroit as a great BBQ mecca and since I was born and raised in Michigan with no experience in NC/Texas/Kansas City aka. BBQ meccas, Slows is by far the best I have ever had.

I went on Tuesdays for their 49 cents wings. this place used to be Smokeeaters and before that there were like two other names lol.

I’ve been putting off reviewing this place because there are a bunch of them now and it’s not easy to reconcile your opinion about a chain. But I’ll give my 2 cents for the Sunset location because that’s the one I’ve always preferred and frequented the most.

It seemed like a long drive from downtown OKC, but I think it felt long only because I was hungry. Found just off I-35, this place was literally an old barn with a dirt driveway and parking lot.

One of the better selections of scotch and bourbon you can get in the area.
The restaurant food is very good, and a bit upscale. Its also has surprisingly good sushi. It seems kind of a strange place to get sushi, but it really is good. The Tavern menu is pretty basic but the sandwiches are piled high and very tasty.

This review is from my experience today. Ive had the ‘service’ that others have referred to, but today was splendid.

This place is amazing. Worth the line and the price. The sauce had a little more kick to it, and even without ordering extra sauce (which I typically do) - I was really impressed by how it all worked very well together. The meat was juicy and well spiced, everything was fresh and it was HUGE. Huge enough that I couldn’t finish it and my car smelled like old Gyro’s for a couple of days (c’mon…you can’t just throw it out!).

James Beard award winning pan fried chicken? I had to try this. It is a little bit out of the way, and if you go at night, it can be challenging to get there, but it’s award winning chicken!

I love the chicken & broccoli boli. Switch out that cheese for some Americana or cheddar. And get the potachoes, with the hot sauce on the size. The potachoes are so good. it’s always a good time at Stuff Yer Face. Mhmm!
