Best breakfast place in town!! Everything is awesome, the staff is friendly and
fantastic. We have never been disappointed.
A gourmet French pastry shop in Downtown Oak Park, Sugar Fixé Pâtisserie
creates delicous pastries that combine classic European traditions with
American styles.
I’ve been to worse Japanese restaurants, but not many. In fact, you couldn’t
get me to eat here again if you made the menu free. Allow me to count the ways
that I’m horrified by this restaurant.
One caveat: There are only 2 tours a week, Saturday at 1pm and 2pm, and you
need to call ahead. But don’t worry, I don’t think the tours usually fill up.
The harissa falafel is the stuff dreams are made of. Taim does it right.
Taureau continues to be the most amazing restaurant in NYC! Absolutely my
favorite place to have an amazing dinner. I took my girlfriend again, on the
17th, this time as a belated birthday present, and Taureau somehow has managed
to get even better over the eight months or so since my last visit!
This is definitely my favorite Thai place, and totally worth the drive.
Being fans of the Food Network, we didn’t have to think twice about trying a
restaurant that was on Bobby Flay’s Throwdown.
A family fall favorite! We have been heading to the elegant farmer every fall
for the past 5 years. There is much to say about the Elegant Farmer, here are a
few tips.
Hidden gem. The atmosphere is perfect. The food is tasty. The wait staff is
spotty, but not enough to taint my opinion of the place. Try the ravioli! Yum!
A visit to Brooklyn for the weekend. A friend took myself and my husband here
for dinner. From the moment we walked in the door the atmosphere was alive with
a cool vibe. We sat at the four seat bar and had a drink. The bartender had
personality.
The coming of cooler nights, diminished daylight, not to mention, fewer
tourists choking Maine roadways and lengthening the lines at Maine’s iconic
landmarks reminds me that the summer of 2012 is fast coming to an end. But boy
(and girl), what a summer it’s been.
Great local bar. Good deals on beer, cool bartenders, and free popcorn. If
you’re not sitting at the bar, the seating can be a bit weird as the pool table
dominates the small space. Nevertheless, this is a great place to grab a beer
and meet some nice folks or watch the game.
First things first, I don’t consider myself a BBQ aficionado. I hail from a
place where we have a whole lotta good weather, but a whole lotta bad BBQ
(American BBQ at least). There are a few good places, but nothing that holds a
candle to the ribs I had at The Pit.. These ribs here are like a southern
mother, firm ,but tender.
My family and I discovered this place a while back after seeing it on Bobby
Flay’s Throwdown. We had no idea that it was right in our backyard, and boy was
it a find. I just keep going back… I’ve been there about ten times. I still
haven’t managed to branch out and try every section (heaven help me attempt to
try every item)– the menu is printed as a newspaper and it is chock full of
things to choose.
I’m probably in the minority here, but, to me, nothing beats a kinda-cold,
mysteriously wet soft pretzel. Please don’t psychoanalyze that statement. I’m
not projecting.

I ordered their famous carrot cake for Mothers Day (featured on Bobby Flay’s
show). The delivery got really screwed up and ended up not arriving on Mothers
Day (I was furious). I called in & the gentleman not only refunded my cake,
but also send me another one overnight.
I really enjoy everything I’ve ever gotten from Chicks, which is to say the
Carolina BBQ and chicken.
I think some of the meals packaged together are weird, I would like to see more
options with smoked chicken or turkey, but I have enjoyed what I get.
Was here today for a group lunch with my office team. We got a fixed menu that
was prepaid so I never saw and prices but I was firmly told not do skip out of
the meal (assuming to not waist money).
