Love Texanita’s the food is so good. There’s so much flavor the salsa is
awesome.Everything taste so fresh and homemade.I would recommend this place to
everyone. They have great lunch.Perfect place for a date.Keep rockin the bomb
food.Yummm.
Yeah yeah, I know, I sound like a broken record when I say that this place has
the best biscuits and gravy in Portland… but it does. I don’t care if the
menu says it or not. They just can’t be beat. In addition, the french toast is
ALSO the best I’ve had in Portland.
This place is great! Small location, cafeteria style service, long line out the
door (that moves relatively quickly), nice and helpful staff and amazing food!
Known for it’s homage to home cooking and popular dishes are the Pot Roast and
the Brick Chicken.
Been here a couple of times, and I plan to come more often! Sure the name is
confusing, but there is so much wholesome and wonderful selection here, the
environment is cozy, and the staff has been pretty friendly on my visits.
I did the Great American Roadtrip and decided to hit a few places that were on
TV. I had an old high school buddy who lived in Nashville and told him that a
part of my roadtrip had to entail those destination places. Literally the ones
featured on Diners Drive Thrus and Dives and Man Vs. Food.
SW Steakhouse just made it to the top of my restaurant list. One of the BEST
steakhouses I have ever been to, and I have been to my share of fine
steakhouses in Los Angeles and LV.
Unique review alert: I’m a pescetarian (fish-eating vegetarian) and I LOVE
steakhouses. My Yelp profile doesn’t list my full steakhouse resume, but I’ve
been to the standards in New York City and tested their seafood offerings –
just to name drop a few: Peter Luger, Wolfgang’s, Keen’s, Old Homestead,
Sparks, Capital Grille, Smith & Wollensky.
The food is AMAZING and has a smart twist for Mexican food. I’ve never had duck
and mole and it was so YUMMY! The margaritas here are thoughtful - passion
fruit and chile de arbol - what a blend.
I MET SUSAN FENIGER! She was incredibly nice and I really appreciated how she
went from table to table checking in on people and how she would actually go
into the kitchen and taste and help prepare things.
I have been going to this place for years and if you have a major sweet tooth
it is the greatest bakery in Chicagoland and possibly any where in the world
next to France!
We got one and wished we actually got four. So, so good. Alton Brown is right
on about this being one of the “best things I ever ate”. Delicious almond
brittle ice cream, toffee chunks, caramel, bananas, whipped cream, and a crispy
waffle bowl…how can you even go wrong?
What can I say that hasn’t been said about Sweet Surrender? This place is a
plethora of sugar, spice and everything nice. It definitely is a hidden gem in
Bakersfield- part chic cafe, bakery & store, with a little bit of trinkets here
and here.
We found this place on Christmas Eve. Best accidental find, ever. Seriously.
I was so worried, because a lot of Chinese/Asian/Asian Fusion food tends to be
greasy, I’ve found. I definitely didn’t want to happen upon a place that would
mess my stomach up. Walking around on Christmas Eve, the chances of us finding
a restroom would be slim. hah.
If fancy comfort food is your thing, this is definitely your place! The shrimp
and grits and fried chicken are absolutely amazing, and the mac and cheese is
completely addicting–even the pickles that come with the charcuterie board are
perfect.
I never know which word to use or where to start when people ask my opinion of
Table 6. Simply mind blowing would be a few words I suppose. For anyone new to
Denver in search of a good spot it may be the only restaurant I suggest as I
know no matter what night of the week someone would pay a visit to this
establishment they are guaranteed a fantastic meal.
Definitely one of the best Cioppino’s I have had. If there’s a wait, check the
bar for empty seats. You can avoid waiting altogether if you sit at the bar.
A far cry, in terms of spaciousness, from its sister store over on East 83rd
and Lexington, this Tal Bagels location is quite enlongated, with tables along
the side across from the counter and more tables and televisions in the rear.
The best Mexican breakfast (besides “LA COMADRE” on Sundays) in Chula Vista.
Consistently good food, fast service and well kept restaurant. Chilaquiles
chipotle are excellent!
We got the crispy egg plant napoleon, feta cheese salad, kafta (ground lamb
entree) and knafeh for dessert.
