Very nice, trendy restaurant with a cool vibe to it. When you see people in the
movies eating out in LA - this is the restaurant they’re “at.” Hypothetically
speaking.
We had a reservation but we were late. We were sited right away and service
was very good.
Happy with the service. Happy with the food. Happy with the vibe/noise level
(at dinner). Call me happy… and stuffed on cauliflower pasta, yummy
minestrone, and chocolate budino. I’ll report back on this so-called famous
roast chicken.
Apparently Anthony Bourdain is a regular here, so in hopes of catching a
glimpse of my all-time favorite foodie, we stopped in to grab a bite. Breakfast
seems to be the time to hit this place up…very busy!
As a California transplant finding good mexican food in new york has been a
challenge. Barrio Chino is the best mexican food i’ve had so far in the city.
The first few times I tried coming here were failed attempts as the wait was
over 2 hours.
I’ve had my fair of delicious Sandwich’s (Lee’s, Earl’s, Sandwich Spot, Which
Wich, etc), but none compare to Bay Cities! Although I don’t live in Santa
Monica anymore, I make it a point to venture down just to get my Godmother!
Trust me when I say this is one of the best sandwich’s you will ever eat.
It’s such pretty restaurant; the uniquely decorated dining rooms, floral
arrangements, and oil paintings. When I think of Bayona it’s all flowers and
delicacy here. Which means that my husband and I stand out like a couple of
sore thumbs. Like two of Sissy Hankshaw’s enormous thumbs, who really enjoy
that cream of garlic soup.
Most of these delicious items are made from scratch by our great bakers who
work early and long hours to fill the shelves everyday with fresh products.
I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember and love it. It is St.
Simons Island to me. Love the picnic tables, cold beer, and BBQ. Not fancy but
real.
The sleigh ride up to the Cabin is very pretty, if you can handle a bit of snow
in the face (and if you can’t, why are you in Beaver Creek anyway?).
I live 200 miles away, but I’m lucky enough to have a local farm store that
stocks Berkshire Mountain Bakery’s bread. Their sourdoughs are among the best
I’ve ever tasted–and more importantly, are the real deal. (Sourdough culture
only, no yeast. Yeasted breads can just go take a hike.)
Bern’s blows my mind away!!! I didn’t have dinner here. I came with some
friends to the dessert room for a birthday. However, I can’t wait to try the
dinner there.
I love this place. Nothing new and shiny here, just good home-cooked breakfast
and lunch eats that are sure to fill your belly and have you begging for tums!
We frequent this spot on Sunday mornings, and offer this advice… the earlier
you show up the better chances you’ll have at getting a table.
There’s a chance that I’m an annoying person to travel with. Example: I will
call Alabama, “Alabam,” the whole time we’re driving through the state. The
whole entire time. So we took a little barbecue detour on our road trip way
through Alambam and I’m glad that we did and I’d do it again. If for the ribs
and the chocolate pie alone, I tell you.
Well I finally made it to THE ‘House of Dogs’ in Denver!
I have to say that I enjoyed my virgin experience and I will be back…most
likely with friends in tow. I sampled the Duck & Cilantro dog along with the
Rattlesnake & Pheasant. I’m not sure I would call these ‘hot dogs’…more like
a sausage in my mind,…but I’m not a dog connoisseur so I’m going with it!
Came here in an early cozy cold morning close to Patrica’s Green in the Hayes
Valley. Found this coffee stand in a garage near an alley way and there was
already a line, but hey when there is a good line of people it gotta be dope
right? To me indeed it was! I’ve ordered a Blue Bottle Mocha Latte, which was
hot, sweet chocolatey, soothing, it was perfect that Frisco morning.
This place is okay and one of the few restaurants were you can go sit down
calmly in journal square. I’ve only been there once and i did not like the
food. I ordered beef tacos and instead the meat in the tacos was literally a
hamburger cut into pieces. I still give it 2 stars because of it being a nice
place to have a drink.
Based on the 2 menu selections we had, the food was excellent and the service
at an early Dinner reservation was exceptional!! Great atmosphere.
Great Meal. Service was spectacular and the BBQ was second to none this side of
the Mason-Dixon.
I stopped here on a whim on my way home from a day in Vandalia thinking I need
some comfort food. Must admit the big sign stating they were on the Food
Channel got my attention more than anything. Can’t believe I’d never stopped
before.
