My husband and I stopped by for a late lunch on our way up to Door County this
past Saturday. We had been here once before, but a few years ago, so we were
excited to go back.
Does this truck still exist? I have looked for it for a couple of weeks (on
49th st) and have not been able to find it.
Hands down, this is the best spot in all of St. Louis to get donuts!!! I must
admit I have an extreme weakness for powdered sugar cake donuts. These are
HEAVENLY!
This is by far the best place for after work drinks. My boyfriend and I are
regulars there, at first we started going for the drink specials - $2 pints on
Thursdays and $4 Cosmos on Fridays.
Despite going on the Washington County Cheese Tour last Saturday and eating
nothing but cheese all day, we decided to find the Ice Cream Man and make a
lunch of more dairy. I had read all about the Ice Cream Man from Daniel B’s
review on All Over Albany. What is the opposite of disappointed? Because
that’s what happened at the Ice Cream Man. I had high expectations, and they
were met.
My first trip to Minnesota. First trip to a REAL state fair since California is
lacking of them. First time flying and seeing a true lightning storm. And first
time seeing real, live deer in a backyard. As you can guess, my first ice cream
experience was equally spectacular, if not, mind blowing.
The coconut truffle was beautiful. Nice texture, great flavor, an all around
excellent example. This was my first exposure to Knipschildt.
I found out about this place from the Food Network. It was featured on Bobby
Flay’s show Throw Down and I decided to give it a try.
Los Barrios has been a favorite since I was a kid and I was thrilled when they
opened one closer to me.
Betwixt the icy pops and the creamy pops listed on Las Paletas menu lies
another category: the mysterious “other.”
I saw this place on food network and immediately had the biggest craving for
cookies. It’s not too far from central park, but I walked right past it the
first time I went.
Great authentic Indian food. Small family owned place. Quick Service. Indian
groceries are also available.
Got the Malnati’s Chicago Classic by delivery. Added mushrooms, onions, and
garlic. The sausage was pretty much the size of the pizza. It was great, but
kind of wished I went there instead to eat it as the cheese wasn’t as melted as
I wanted when I ate it since it got delivered.
Amazingly, this restaurant lived up to the hype. We were on our way from
Nashville to Memphis and my husband had read about this place, so we decided to
check it out. Fortunately, we had read to call ahead to put our name on the
waiting list.
Hey, what’s not to like? When entertaining, the decor helps move the
conversation along, and keeps me from having to think of something to say - all
I have to do is look up, or around for inspiration.
The Magic Hat Brewing Company has developed a delicious spell with which to
welcome in and prepare for the approaching days of fall.
Make My Cake is one of my favorites. I’ve purchased about 4 cakes from here and
they always design them beautifully. I always stick with the red velvet cake,
its soooooo good!
Best crispy tacos in San Diego. The del muneco chicken tacos are out of this
world and the salsa bar is ridiculous.
Just came here to order carryout. We were greeted by the owner and he offered
us some wine. Right off the bat, I new this place was gonna be awesome. The
owner and staff were very friendly.
Bloody Mary? why yes thank you! And what’s this?? Well a Miller high life to
back it. Yep and its tasty as can be. The Midwest fella who crafts the delish
drinks here does you proper.
