El Parasol

tv show: Bizarre Foods America

The four of us ate here and felt the food was just OK and probably won't go back again. We chose this place because of the high ratings, but to us, it wasn't as good as others have rated it.

Bobcat Bite

tv show: Bizarre Foods America

The green chile cheeseburger at Bobcat Bite was the best thing I ate during my trip to Santa Fe. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had anywhere, and I'd be willing to drive a good way to get it again. Unfortunately, I live a thirteen-hour drive away, which is more than I can venture, even hyperbolically speaking.

Tia Sophia's

tv show: Bizarre Foods America

Tia Sophia's is one of the best places to eat breakfast, or lunch in Santa Fe. When we're up near The Plaza, we always come here for breakfast. The food is good and there never seems to be a long wait to be seated. Parking on the other hand can sometimes be difficult.

Monte Carlo Steakhouse

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

aw this place inn DDD and had to stop in while passing through New Mexico. It lived up to the hype. Awesome steak sandwich and Ortega burgers. Told the server about our road trip and he gave us a couple shirts. Had a great time and would definitely go again.

Tecolote Cafe

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

I know we've always had a delicious, well prepared breakfast at Tecolote Cafe. But it's the small basket of muffins and biscuits that we remember most. And, Tecolote serves warm muffins and biscuits to every patron as they sit down. Nice!

Tune-Up Cafe

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

This place is absolutely the go-to favorite when you need a little sumpin' sumpin'. Dave's Not Here anymore, and I miss it too, but the tune up hits the spot. I drive straight here whenever I come to town.

Sophia's Place

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

I actually forgot that we found this place because of DDD. We no longer care about that, this place stands out like a rockstar on its own, and we adore it! We always try to bring visitors here, and recommend it all the time.

Cecilia's Cafe

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

I'm from the west coast, and I grew up eating hole-in-the-wall mexican, tex-mex, etc. Now I live in Virginia, good mexican food is very hard to find. So, I get my hot food fix from Indian food, which is great, but mexican food is still my favorite. Thus, on a recent trip we decided to try to find a triple-D mexican oriented place and this is the one we picked.

Backroad Pizza

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

It was difficult to find this place, as it is tucked away in a neighborhood against a railroad line and adjacent an apartment-looking office park. But it was cute and tasty.

Zia Diner

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

Restaurant stop #3 on the family road trip. I am automatically skeptical of places featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" because of my distrust of Guy Fieri and his overall taste, but this place really surprised me.

Jambo Cafe

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

This is by far my favorite place to eat in New Mexico. I now live in Albuquerque and travel up to Santa Fe just to eat here. The food is so amazing and well priced. I always get hooked on the same thing for awhile because I can't imagine it can get better, eventually I venture to something new and I am pleased that it is just as delicious as the last love I found. One thing I really enjoy is their great non alcoholic beverages. The Chai and fresh coconuts are so great! I also love the staff. My husband and I have a young child and they are always entertaining him.

Bocadillos

tv show: Diners Drive-Ins and Dives

I give the Rueben 5 million stars...seriously. Howie is not exagerrating when he says how good this sandwich is--and I don't even LIKE Ruebens. The Cuban was good, but it's lacking mustard and pickles. I probably wouldn't order it again. The other sandwiches on the menu look amazing as well, I'll have to try the "filthy" or the "505 filthy." The soup was also really good, I could go back just for that!
