My new venture offers fine dining in a fresh, lively and inviting atmosphere coupled with the best view in the world. The unparalleled Manhattan skyline. Our menu features a raw bar that includes a wide variety of the freshest oysters from around the world, as well as superb fish, pristine seafood and succulent steaks in an elegant setting. We believe 3 Forty Grill has raised the bar on the level of dining in Hoboken." Peter Johnson, Architect, PC, created a theatrical dining experience through the use of strong geometry, lighting and innovative materials. He describes the space as being "…warm, although it sparkles with accents of stainless steel, textured acrylic panels and high hue of ceramic tiles."

Perhaps the best meal I've ever eaten. Delicious, beautifully presented, and perfect portions. The amuse trio was fabulous, especially the BLT, and the chocolate mousse dessert was to die for. Fantastic service, and adorable setting!

Alioto’s Restaurant, a San Francisco landmark located on Fisherman’s Wharf, is one of San Francisco’s oldest fine dining seafood restaurants specializing in traditional Sicilian recipes. To this day, the family name is closely associated with the City of San Fransisco itself. Alioto’s knows fish. The Restaurant began as a fresh fish stall on San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf in 1925. Since then, little has changed. Fish is still bought fresh daily by Alioto’s full time fish buyer. Alioto’s serves a tantalizing selection of fresh seafood, including sea bass, sand dabs, sole, swordfish, tuna, scallops, and Dungeness crab all caught locally, whenever possible. Alioto’s never skimps on the fish they purchase.

The food program at BB&C revolves around local, organic, sustainable and overall responsible procurement. The menu cycles are seasonal and heavily influenced on production from the aeroponic roof-top tower garden. Finding inspiration in the regions of America and focusing on the contemporary aspect and eclecticism of the melting pot, BB&C's food strives for an element of originality and individualism.

I love going to Bennett's Ice Cream, because the fresh ice cream is delicious and the service is down home and friendly. This is an old-fashioned ice cream stand in the best sense of the word. The home made ice cream comes in an incredible selection of flavors, (the mint chip is to die for) and the ice cream scooping staff will be only too happy to give you some sample tastes. Located in the classic old Farmer's Market at 3rd & Fairfax, you'll find Bennett's at the eastern end of the market, close to where the Grove starts.

If you're visiting DC, pleeeease do yourself a favor and make a reservation at this place. The food, drinks, service, and ambience were OUT OF THIS WORLD. We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday with no reservation expecting to be turned away, but we got lucky and landed a spot at the full-service dining bar. I also went in expecting the hostess to be snooty (they usually are) but everyone we encountered, from the hostess to the busboys, was outgoing, friendly, and warm. We were told before we were seated that it was the bartender's first night going solo, so I was a little worried...but she was awesome. She was so knowledgable about the menu and beer selection. Now, I am not typically a beer drinker, but their 50+ craft beers on tap (yes you read that right) and the fact that you can order 4oz glasses a la carte for $2-$3 a pop, to try different things...awesome. Onto the food...my boyfriend and I shared everything.

New favorite lunch spot!!!! I've been to Bistro 22 three times in the past three weeks - it's delicious! I've tried the grilled romaine and the steak salads as well as the tuna and the chicken salad open-faced sandwiches. Everything has been out of this world and I can't wait to go back for more of what I've already tried AND to try the rest of the menu! SO GOOD! Sitting outside is extremely refreshing and comfortable and the waiters & waitresses have all been extremely nice, helpful and pleasant!

Fusion food from North to South America is the resident forte here otherwise known as Pan-American cuisine. The restaurant delivers quite the ambiance with modern/contemporary in earth tones and a touch of rustic. The high ceilings add space and grandeur to the glory of Bocanova! Our party of six sat at a table indoors, but I noticed they have a bar table overlooking the kitchen. That has always been a favorite of mine to see the magic in motion! The outdoor seating is quite nice as well with ample amounts of shade and a nice breeze from the marina.

What better way to spend Saturday dinner among close friends and delicious nouveau American cuisine at Boundary Road! The place is warm and inviting, with exposed brick walls and rustic, simple furniture. We came in as a party of three and ordered two appetizers, the PB&J fois gras and a pasta dish with scallops. Both were an amazing start to our meal! At first impression, the fois gras looked intimidatingly thick and was room temperature, sandwhiched in between two pieces of slightly toasted bread with strawberry jam. But I'm glad I tried it because it was sumptously rich and reminded me of a wonderful piece of brie! While the pasta dish was slightly on the salty side, it was full of flavor and kept me coming back for seconds.

OMG. So i've been to Brenda's twice. I went with my bestie Rey and also with my bestie Michael a second time. I always order the fried chicken benedicts. They are amazing. Their sweets and coffee are to die for. I am not a fan of the wait but it happens because everyone loves this spot. I think next time i will try a different plate. I haven't had the chance to try any of their alcoholic drinks. As far as parking. It is pretty convenient and you have to pay via meter.

Breuckelen Distilling began crafting gin and whiskey during the summer of 2010. The process begins with all New York grown whole grains and ends with bottled spirits, entirely under one roof in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Everything we sell is made entirely from scratch here on 19th Street in Brooklyn. From scratch means we process all of our ingredients ourselves. From milling whole grains to bottling, every step of production occurs here in our one room operation. We select our ingredients from local producers most importantly and from organic sources, second. All of our grains are sourced from NY farms; most are grown by our farmer Thor. Simple and natural is good. So we don’t use any coloring, additives, extracts, or fancy filtering to alter our spirits. We let the result of our ingredients and process be the flavor of our spirits.

From its origins as a tack room to its contemporary incarnation as a hospitable retreat, the Lowcountry carriage house has evolved from its rustic roots to offer genteel repose-much like Southern culinary culture itself. Our modern carriage house beckons with both intriguing history and fresh inspiration, enfolding visitors in a simpler way of life where a small plate of shrimp and a nip of bourbon are the evening’s star attractions. Find this culinary excursion in chef Mark Steuer’s menu at Chicago’s own Carriage House, bringing “down south” up north.
